‘Life Check’ Author Robin Marvel Nominated for 97th SMA Book Awards

Ann Arbor, MI — Marvelous Spirit Press, has nominated author Robin Marvel for the 97th Society of Midland Authors (SMA) Book Life CheckAwards. Marvel has been nominated for the award for her latest book Life Check ?7 Steps to Balance Your Life!, published in September this year.

Marvel’s Life Check focuses on happiness and fulfillment in people’s daily lives. It motivates people who have been following the crowd, and lost their connection to their real self, resulting in lack of passion about living their dream life, for a major shift coming toward lasting happiness from within.

“There are two things that set this book apart from my others,” Robin Marvel says about Life Check: “First, Life Check provides many proven and effective action plans that will get you from point A to your goal, allowing you to stop existing and start living. And second, Life Check gives you moments of clarity. Throughout the book, as you come across the life checks, you are given the opportunity to reflect and meditate on where you are in the moment.”

“Life Check immediately stood out to me as a unique approach to self-help because of its person-centered approach to discovering your core values and developing goals,” says Victor Volkman, founder and senior editor at the press. “You won’t find an ounce of preaching in this book; instead Robin reveals her very personal journey and challenges the reader with exercises to clarify his or her own values and goals.”

Past nominees from Loving Healing Press and its imprints for the SMA Award include: Tyler R. Tichelaar, Anya Achtenberg, Sherry Quan Lee, Larry Hayes, and Mark Elswick.
