The works of Isabella Kirkland, both beautiful and bold, make a statement about the natural life around us and how impending environmental threats and extinction affect both plants and animals. Join speaker Ryan McEwan of the University of Dayton Biology Department as you explore the science behind the human-caused extinction crisis and how this crisis manifests in species traits and global geography, all told through the beautiful and science-centric works of Kirkland.
